Community news empire Patch has snatched Nickelodeon’s director of digital programming, Elizabeth Lashway, as editorial director of its lifestyle verticals. The former AOL property launched its 1,000th site this week, in Manhattan, Ill. and we’re told it’s been profitable for the past five months.
