Hale Global Announces Two Seasoned Executive Additions to its Management Team

- Names Bobby Figueroa Managing Director and Head of Hale Global's West Coast Operations -

- Appoints Peter Shields to Managing Director, Responsible for Deal Generation and Operational Support -

New York, N.Y., (October 20, 2011) - Hale Global, a partner to management teams of leading global enterprises facing operational or strategic inflection points, announced today that Bobby Figueroa and Peter Shields have joined the company to help evaluate opportunities, negotiate and close successful transactions, and work with portfolio companies to help them grow and thrive.

At Hale Global, Mr. Figueroa will oversee all aspects of business development and operational support for the firm's west coast office and serve as the firm's primary liaison with its partners and various portfolio companies.

Mr. Figueroa brings over 15 years of experience running product development, product management and product marketing in the high-tech online space. Prior to joining Hale Global, Mr. Figueroa was the VP of Product Development at Yahoo! for advertising products. Mr. Figueroa had previously spent three years as Head of Product Marketing for Google's advertising products. Mr. Figueroa started his career at Procter & Gamble as a Brand Manager before moving to Microsoft where he spent six years as Director of Product Management & Planning for online services.

Mr. Figueroa attended Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico, where he received a B.S. in Electronics and Telecommunications, before obtaining his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Peter Shields will use his 20 years of executive, operational and investment experience to help Hale Global source investment opportunities, manage current investments and advise portfolio company management.

Mr. Shields most recently served as Chief Executive Officer at Lumigent Technologies, Inc where he was responsible for corporate strategy and execute a successful sale to Beyond Trust. Prior to that, Mr. Shields served as Chief Executive Officer at SoundBite Communications, Inc, where he led the company through a period of rapid growth and a successful IPO. Earlier in his career Mr. Shields held a number of senior level positions at various technology companies, including Formation Systems (now part of Infor), Aspen Technology and IBM.

Mr. Shields holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of Management.
